Verify that suppressor alignment is concentric to the bore with a suppressor alignment check rod. The King of the Subsonic hunting loads, this projectile has taken Zebra, Elk, Mule Deer, Gemsbok, Eland, Waterbuck, Water Buffalo, Brown Bear, Black Bear, Whitetail, Nilgai, and Feral Pigs.
This particular projectile is not compatible with Faxon barrels. Faxon barrels are rough and generally inconsistent. Consumers of 8.6 Blackout have reported unsatisfactory accuracy when shooting Maker Expanders through Faxon barrels…this isn’t representative of the ammo, but rather the inconsistent quality of Faxon barrels as a whole. In a good quality barrel, these projectiles are capable of consistent usable accuracy. We test this load routinely and standard deviations are in the single digit range.
